2018 Winter Olympics

I absolutely LOVE to watch the Olympic Games! I remember when I was little I would pretend to be Dominique Dawes and Michelle Kwan and flip and spin around my living room or backyard. I definitely loved gymnastics and figure skating because, hey I was a dancer and it was pretty much the same thing right? But this weekend, the 2018 Winter Olympic Games are happening!! I can't wait! I am always in awe of the talent and skills of these athletes. I love watching everything! Even Curling! Such a strange sport, but it's so precise! The Bobsled event is always a must see for me. Especially after watching Cool Runnings when I was 6 years old! And now! Jamaica is sending it first Women's Bobsled Team to the Olympics! How cool is that? I am super stoked and I hope that I can catch it all!

In anticipation of these Winter Games, and because I am always looking for new inspiration, I have a created a short Yoga Flow to get me in the mood for the Olympics! USA ALL THE WAY!!

Figure Skating - Dancer's Pose - Natarajasana

Skiing - Skier's Pose - Chair Pose Variation - Utkatasana

Curling - Lizard Lunge Variation - Utthan Pristhasana

Skeleton - Prone Pose - Pronasana (I made that up...)

Pretty proud of my creativity on this one! :)

Bobsled - Handstand Hop Variation - Adho Mukha Vrksasana

Luge - Half Boat Pose - Ardha Navasana

It is a silly, fun and also challenging flow! I hope you enjoy it! Definitely be sure to warm up properly before attempting this flow. And be sure to tune into NBC for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games!
